Rapid Transformational Therapy

RTT or Rapid Transformational Therapy uses ​hypnosis as the main tool to access the ​subconscious mind and find the root cause of a ​presenting issue that causes discomfort to a ​person. In that relaxed state, the therapist uses ​then different therapeutical techniques to ​reframe the belief behind the issue, solve it, and ​install more constructive patterns to help the ​person achieve their desired outcome.

Marisa Peer developed Rapid Transformation Therapy based on decades of experience as a therapist and observation of recurring patterns in human behavior. Her approach combines techniques from hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and cognitive-behavioral therapy to quickly access the subconscious and challenge and change deeply ingrained limiting beliefs.


RTT focuses on identifying and addressing the root of emotional and behavioral problems, allowing clients to experience significant transformations in a relatively short period of time.

what is hypnosis

it is a natural state.

Many people believe that being in hypnosis is markedly different from their 'normal' state of consciousness. This may be based on what they have seen of stage hypnotists where someone “acted like a chicken” or entered into a deep trance and “made strange noises”.

However, the light trance/hypnotic state feels very much like the normal state of relaxation. It is just like when you are immersed in a movie or a book and nothing else around you exists, or when you are driving on the highway on autopilot.


It is a deep state of relaxation

In fact, as you become relaxed in hypnosis, you become more aware and your focus and concentration heighten.


It is precisely that relaxation of the body that allows the mind access the subconscious part in which all our memories are stored and where our beliefs reside. In this state, you become more receptive to suggestions and are able to make changes at a subconscious level.


You ARE in control

For example, if I told you to stand up, you would do it. But if I told you to rob a bank, you would not. Well, it’s the same in hypnosis - YOU ARE IN CONTROL. You will only accept the suggestions given to you if you feel it is in your interests to do so or if it is within your ethical framework of personal values.


As a therapist, I’m working with those internal limiting beliefs that are causing you discomfort, which you are actively trying to change in therapy to transform your life.


and what is not

You are not asleep or unconscious

Hypnosis is not sleep or unconsciousness. It's a state of focused attention and heightened awareness, similar to deep relaxation or meditation. While in hypnosis, individuals are fully conscious and aware of their surroundings.


The therapist is working with you on healing an issue, they couldn’t do it if you were asleep or unconscious!



It is not something “mystical”

Hypnosis is a real psychological phenomenon. It's been studied extensively and is recognized as a valid therapeutic technique by many medical and psychological organizations.


There is nothing mystical about it, although for some people it can be a spiritual experience. It all depends on your own approach and what you use it for.



It’s not magic

While hypnosis can produce powerful effects, it is not magic. It's a scientifically recognized phenomenon with well-established principles and applications in psychology and therapy.

There isn’t a right way to go under hypnosis

There is no right or wrong way to experience hypnosis. Don’t expect to “feel” hypnotised, you don’t “go” anywhere magical and you won’t fall unconscious. And if you’re an sceptic, you’re welcome just the same, you don’t have to believe in the method for it to work. Many people don’t even realize they are in hypnosis until they come out of it.

Each RTT session is a cycle of 21 days ​to 1 month sessions, with follow up. ​You are not alone in the process!


RTT is rapid and irreversible, but we ​need to cover all the root causes that ​led to the presenting problem. The ​number of sessions is determined by ​the therapist, based on own ​estimation of the problem and the ​desired outcome.
